Frank Ocean's "Channel Orange"

By now I'm sure that most of you have heard the news that Frank Ocean took to his Tumblr regarding his sexuality. Since his statement, I haven't had the chance to not think about him. I've been immersed in his aura and energy, and I'm soaking it all in.

Last week, he appeared in his first ever television performance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon where he sang "Bad Religion," a single off is new album, Channel Orange. Additionally, he released Channel Orange on iTunes that same day. So far, I've listened to the album about 4 times. After watching this moving performance that brought me to tears (yes, it happened) I thought it'd be appropriate to share this video today, on the day he officially releases Channel Orange in stores, in case you haven't seen it yet:

I admire his bravery and honesty for liberating himself from a secret that many are afraid to admit, and I'm 100% behind this dude. He's a great, young voice of our generation, and I think that we all can learn something from this young fellow.

xoxo
